The Seattle Seahawks activated cornerback Trevon Diggs from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster. Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowl selection and former Dallas Cowboys player, earns a new opportunity at regular-season snaps with Seattle.

During the 49ers-Seahawks game on October 11, San Francisco wide receiver Mike Evans was spotted on camera reading Diggs' name off the back of his jersey in an apparent bit of sideline needle. The clip went viral quickly, drawing fresh scrutiny to Diggs just days after his call-up from the practice squad.
